Guitar Lessons has become a much looked up set of words in google. Teenagers are searching for the best guitar lessons, something very logical, they want to know how to play the guitar and be the best.
Every time someone wants to pick up a new instrument, in this case, a guitar, they start with several questions. I am going to try to give you a couple of interesting thoughts that hopefully will help you getting started.
It can be an amazing experience for some teenagers due to the fact that they're getting a new toy except that, there is a lot of variety and choices.
It is not a great idea to buy an expensive guitar at the beginning, and there are a few reasons for that:
1. It can get damaged: very often, teenagers aren't very careful with their new guitars. After you fall in love with your guitar you start to be really careful.
2. Level of commitment: At first, you do not know if you are going to fall in love with the guitar, how much time you are going to give it and the effort that you are going to put in your learning, for that reason, a very high quality guitar is not a wise decision for a beginner.
3. Not enough time: Let’s say that you fall in love with the new toy but you just don't have sufficient time to play, the guitar will be waiting for you, this makes reference to the previous idea, if you do not make time to play, means that your level of commitment is very low.
4. A guitar can be considered as an investment, but for a lot of people can be the opposite, i.e. there are a lot of guitars that their price increases as the time goes by, but most guitars that beginners get do not. This means that if the guitar is not properly used, it will be a cost rather than an investment.
The secret to success is consistency, it's by that path that everyone that picks up an instrument regardless if it's a guitar or not, will be a powerful musician.
Like they say at the Gym… Go hard or Go home, meaning that grabbing a guitar, like every other dream we follow, means sacrifice, but let me tell you this: “If you believe you can, then you can; if you think you can not, then you can not, either way you are correct” – Henry Ford
